On Friday, the Track teams competed at the Pine Richland Invitational where the following athletes earned medals:

The girls are one of the final four remaining teams in the WPIAL Team Championship. Their final team competition will be on Tuesday at Peters Township Confluence Financial Partners Stadium beginning at 3:00. Tickets will be $10 and available at the gate.
On Tuesday the Track teams celebrated Senior Night and ended their regular seasons undefeated. The girls’ team defeated Hampton 113 -37 and the boys tied 75-75.
The WPIAL Team playoffs will begin on Tuesday, April 30 for both teams.
On Friday the Track teams competed at the Butler Invitational where the following top performers earned medals:
Madison Hunt – 6th place Shot Put
Karlee Buterbaugh – 3rd place Javelin
Kara Fennell – 4th place Triple Jump, 7th place Pole Vault
Kendall Loos – 6th place Long Jump
The teams will celebrate Senior Night at the final regular season Track meet, Tuesday (4/23) at home against Hampton.
Congratulations to the HS Girls’ Track Team for advancing to the WPIAL Team Championship by defeating all teams in the Team Semifinals Wednesday at West Mifflin. One of many outstanding individual performances was Karlee Buterbaugh, who threw a school record breaking 131-5 in the javelin.
The girls will compete in the WPIAL Team Finals next Tuesday, May 7, at Peter’s Township Stadium starting at 3:00.
On Wednesday the Track Teams both captured Section Championships by defeating Burrell and Springdale, finishing section competition 7-0.
Kara Fennell set another school record in the Triple Jump with a jump of 37-10!
The teams will celebrate Senior Night at the final regular season Track meet, Tuesday (4/23) at home.
Congratulations to the HS Track teams who remain undefeated after winning against both Leechburg and Apollo Ridge Wednesday at home. Capping off a great afternoon of performances, Ava Santora ran a 4th best all time 3200M for the girls and Carter French ran a 9th best all time 3200M for the boys!
The teams wrap up Section competition next Tuesday at Burrell, starting at 3:30.
The Varsity Track teams continued their winning ways Wednesday by defeating Deer Lakes in Section competition.
The teams then traveled to Slippery Rock on Saturday to compete in the Butler County Classic Invitational. Top performances include:

The teams are back at home at 3:30 Wednesday, April 10 to take on Apollo and Leechburg.
The Varsity Track teams opened their seasons with a meet against Valley and Freeport. Both the Boys’ and Girls’ teams came away with victories while Kara Fennell posted a new all-time school record in the Triple Jump!
The first home track meet of 2024 will be this Wednesday (4/3) starting at 3:30.
