The final match of the Knoch Girls' tennis season was a success as they defeated Burrell for their second sweep of the season. Alex Jones won in first singles with a score of 6-4, 0-6, 10-8. In second singles, Alana Moroney won with a score of 6-2, 6-0. Katie Barlow rounded out the singles wins with a score of 6-1, 6-1. First doubles consisting of Abby Markiewickz and Olivia Offstein won 6-1, 6-0. Second doubles consisting of Chloe Winters and Mackenzie Glassic won 10-10 (8-6). Great job to the girls on their final match of the season!

At the 1st Dylan Tarbi invitational at Freeport Saturday.The Boys team finished 2nd out of 7 teams.Individual Top 20 Medal Winners for the Boys and Girls included:Brady Perkins, Quinn McCool, Owen French, Kaidyn Kay and Savannah Zannoli.

Knoch Boys Soccer earned a win against Armstrong in double overtime.  The final score was 3-2.  Scoring in regulation for the Knights was Will Parisi on a PK and Liam Avon with an assist from Austin Friedline.  Kannon Trofimuk scored the game winner.  The Knights play again on Thursday at Indiana.

The Knoch Boys earned another victory this evening against Obama Academy by a score of 6-2.  After ending the first half down by a goal, the Knights came back and score 5 in a row.  Austin Friedline scored first off an assist by Aedan Smith.  Liam Avon continued the scoring of an pass by Austin Friedline.  Jacob Murdie scored the third goal off a corner taken by Will Parisi,  Duncan Schilpp scored the fourth goal assisted by Jacob Murdie, and Evan Haas scored an unassisted goal off a free kick.  After giving up a goal on a PK, Will Parisi scored a header off of a corner by Austin Friedline.  The boy play at away at Mars next Tuesday.

The Knoch Boys earned their second section win this evening defeating Kiski 4-0.  Austin Friedline had a hat trick and Evan Haas score the other goal.  The boys play on Thursday at home against Obama Academy.

The Knights earned their first victory of the season with a 3-0 win against Shaler. Will Schwalm scored first with an assist from Austin Friedline.  Liam Avon netted the second goal off a corner from Will Parisi.  Austin Friedline finished it off with an unassisted goal.  Barrett Duffy had a shutout with a single save.  The Knight play next Tuesday at Kiski.

The first section win for Knoch Girls' tennis today as they took down Highlands. Alex Jones won in first singles with a score of 6-3, 7-5. In second singles, Alana Moroney won with a score of 6-4, 6-0. First and second doubles both fought hard during tough third set matches where they both ultimately pulled out a win! First doubles consisting of Olivia Offstein and Abby Markiewickz won 5-7, 7-5, 6-2. Second doubles consisting of Chloe Winters and Mackenzie Glassic won doubles 6-3, 6-6(4-7), 6-2.

Congratulations to all the athletes who competed at the PIAA Track and Field Championships at Shippensburg University May 24 and 25. Bringing home State medals were: Karlee Buterbaugh 6th place in Javelin Kara Fennell 3rd place in Triple Jump with a new school record jump of 38-10.25 Kara Fennell 6th place in Pole Vault Kristofer Robinson 1st place in WC Shot Put Kristofer Robinson 1st place in WC 200M Kristofer Robinson 2nd place in WC 100M Ava Santora also placed 9th in the 3200 setting a new school record time of 11:18.12

The Knights win first round of the WPIAL playoffs 8-3 over Greensburg Salem. Leading the way for the Knights was Freshman McKenna Brailey going 3 for 3 with 4 RBI and 2 runs scored. Marlee Fraser pitched the whole game striking out nine and giving up zero earned runs. Next up Hampton one Wed place and time TBD.
