Congratulations to Carter French for placing 11th at the Cross Country State Championship this weekend!

Congratulations to Carter French who finished 5th in the AA XC WPIAL Championship. Carter will travel to Hershey on November 2 to compete in the PIAA XC Championship. 

On Tuesday, the Cross County teams traveled to Freeport where they took on both Avonworth and Freeport.  Natalie Zolinas came in 1^st  place overall for the girls with Aubrey Spencer following in 9^th.

For the boys, Grady Robb came in 3^rd place overall, Connor McCool finished 6^th, and Jackson McCool came in 7^th.

The teams travel to Grove City on Saturday to race at the John Sample Invite. 

On Tuesday, the Cross Country teams traveled to Hartwood Acres to compete against Hampton and Burrell. Carter French placed first overall with Grady Robb close behind in 5^th, Jackson McCool in 7^th and Connor McCool finishing out the top 10. Natalie Zolinas came in first for the women, finishing 3^rd overall. 

The teams finish out Section competition on Tuesday at Freeport. Races start at 3:30.

On Tuesday, the Knoch XC teams celebrated Senior Night in style with the boys’ team winning over Aquinas Academy 17-39. Carter French and Natalie Zolinas were individual overall winners. Celebrating their last home meet as seniors were Allison Smith and Bailie Nowak. The Team is back in action next Tuesday vs Hampton and Burrell at Hartwood Acres Park.

On Tuesday, the Cross Country teams opened Section competition with a meet against North Catholic, Deer Lakes, Riverview and Shadyside Academy. Carter French led the boys' team with a second place overall finish as the boys finished 2-2 on the day. Natalie Zolinas was the top runner for the girls finishing 7th overall. The teams will host their only home meet this Tuesday (9/17) and will be celebrating Senior Night for Allison Smith and Bailie Nowak. Racing begins at 3:30. 

On Saturday, the HS Cross Country Team competed at the Red White and Blue Invite in White Oak. Natalie Zolinas and Carter French earned awards for the team by placing 23^rd and 8^th respectively. 

The teams start section competition on Tuesday at Deer Lakes. Races start at 4:00.
