Varsity Track WPIAL Individual Championships

Knights Lose: -
On Wednesday the Track Teams competed at WPIAL Individual Championships where the following earned medals and qualified for States at Shippensburg University next weekend.
Girls 4x8 (Grace Bogacz, Myah Smith, Ava Santora, and Brooke Galcik) – 6th place – PIAA State Qualifiers.
Karlee Buterbaugh – Javelin – 5th place – PIAA State Qualifier
Kendall Loos- Long Jump – 6th place – PIAA State Qualifier
Boys 4x8 (Gavin Haugh, Austen Haugh, Eli Ruediger, Braydon Esplen) – 6th place
Kara Fennell - Triple Jump - 7th place
Grace Bogacz - 800m – 8th place

Knights Lose: -
On Wednesday the Track Teams competed at WPIAL Individual Championships where the following earned medals and qualified for States at Shippensburg University next weekend.

On Thursday, the Track Teams competed at the Northern Area Last Chance Invite where Kendall Loos won the Long Jump with a school record breaking jump of 17-10.5!
Also placing in the meet were:
Madison Hunt – 1st place Shot Put
Girls 4x800 (Myah Smith, Grace Bogacz, Ava Santora, Brooke Galcik) – 3rd place
Karlee Buterbaugh – 3rd place Javelin
Boys 4x800 (Gavin Haugh, Austen Haugh, Eli Ruediger, Braydon Esplen) 4th place
Girls Track WPIAL Team Championship

Knights Lose: -
On Tuesday the Girls Track and Field Team competed in the WPIAL Team Championship, finishing in 3rd place overall.
This season, the Girls were Section Champs, with a 9-0 record, and were 3rd out of 73 teams in AA WPIAL.
The focus will now switch to individual competition with the WPIAL Individual Championship taking place next Wednesday, May 17 at SRU.

On Thursday, the Track Teams competed in the WPIAL Team Semifinals at Shenango. The girls’ team advanced to the WPIAL Team Finals for the first time in program history, by defeating all 4 other semifinal teams. The Team Championship Meet will take place next Tuesday, May 9, at Peters Township High School starting at 3:00.

On Tuesday, the Track Teams wrapped up regular season competition at Hampton. The girls team finished the season undefeated with a 9-0 record. The boys team finished 6-3. Both teams will be advancing to the WPIAL Team Playoffs on Tuesday, May 2. The scores from Tuesday were:

Knights Lose: -
On Friday, the Girls Track Team competed in the Butler Invitational where they earned 3 medals and set two new all-time school records.
The 4 x 100 Relay team of Kamryn Burtner, Aubry Savannah, Adah Fuller, and Kendall Loos, earned a 7th place medal while running a Knoch best time of 51:10.
Kara Fennell earned a 5th place medal in the Long Jump with a Knoch best distance of 17-05.00. Kara also earned a 6th place medal in the Triple Jump.

On Wednesday, the Track Teams wrapped up Section competition by hosting Burrell and Springdale. The Girls team has secured a Section Championship by going undefeated this season and the boys team has only suffered one section loss. Both teams will be advancing to the WPIAL Team Playoffs which begin on May 2. The scores from Wednesday were:
