The fans got their money's worth on Friday afternoon as the 7th Grade Boys Basketball Team battled North Allegheny's Carson Middle School. The young Knights fought hard but dropped their third straight back-and-forth slugfest of the week, 36-33 to go to 6-3 on the season. Liam Avon was Knoch's top scorer with 13 points. Brody Bauman and Evan Fink each scored 7. Roman DeFelice hit two huge 3 pointers with less than a minute to play to give the Knights hope at the end, and finished with 6 points. Knoch looks to get back on the winning track next week with home matchups Monday against Leechburg and Thursday against Springdale.
