In another tight game to the end, we watched our young Knoch Knights, find a way to come away with a 1st RND playoff victory over the visiting Beaver Bobcats 52-48.  Knoch trailed 43-35 early in the 4th quarter only respond with a 17-5 run to close the game.  The defensive effort was outstanding throughout the night.  Keeping the Knights close as they struggled offensively.  Derek Lang paced the Knights with 17, Teegan Finucan had 14, including the go ahead bucket in the 4th quarter the gave Knoch a 49-48 lead.  Jackson Bauman ended the night with 12, with back 2 back 3's in the 4th to tie the game.  Kaden Spencer was outstanding on the defensive end, plus 3 huge offensive rebounds in the 4th quarter.  Zane Packe had 5 blocks and Zarian Finucan hit 2 foul shots with 3 seconds left to seal the victory for Knoch.  Knoch improves to 15-8 overall and advances to the round of 8, where they will face top seed Lincoln Park on Wednesday, site and time TBD.
