The Knoch Girls Basketball Team wrapped up their regular season schedule this past Thursday evening with a hard fought victory over back yard rival Freeport 52-49.  The Freeport Yellow Jackets came into the game looking to keep the Knights from a perfect section season record only to be denied by the Knights tough defensive effort and timely free throws down the stretch to win the game.  The Knights completed a perfect section record in Section 1 4A at (12-0) and a school record 19-2 overall record.  Maddie Boyer was high scorer with 21 points and Hattie McGraw continued her hot shooting from 3-point land knocking down 4 three pointers to finish with 14 points.  The JV team lost to Freeport 41-31 they finished an impressive 10-4 on the season with only one section lost.  Adah Fuller was high scorer finishing with 17 points.  The Knights will now prepare for the WPIAL Playoffs which they have qualified for the past 5 seasons under the direction of Coach Andreassi.  They will wait for the the brackets to be unveiled on Monday evening to see their match-up.  Best of Luck in the upcoming play-offs.
