Congratulations to the Knoch Girls Basketball Team on their victory this afternoon beating Highlands 56-48
High scorers:
Nina Shaw - 15 points (13-14 from foul line, she was 10 for 10 down the stretch to seal the win)
Hattie McGraw - 14 points (4 three pointers on the night)
The girls are 17-2 overall and 11-0 in section play.
Knoch wins their first section title since 1972 and the schools first title since joining the WPIAL which started in (1973-74).
Knoch has qualified for the playoffs 5 straight years under Coach Chris Andreassi.
The team has not lost a home game since 1/13/2020 vs North Catholic. (19 straight wins at home).
The team has won 18 straight section games dating back to 2/6/2020.
The Team will host and play a non-section game on Monday Feb 7 vs Mohawk. Good Luck Knights.
