Girls Varsity Basketball vs. Deer Lakes HS School

Last evening the Girls Basketball Team put on a defensive clinic frustrating the Deer Lake Lancers the entire game en route to a 51-25 victory. The Knights improved to 13-2 overall and 7-0 in section play. Leading the Knights in scoring with double digits - Karlee Buterbaugh who knocked down 14 points, Nina Shaw netted 12 points and Maddie Boyer chipped in with 11 points. The JV team also defeated Deer Lakes 37-19 to win their seventh straight game improving to 7-3 on the season. Leading the Knights in scoring was Jessica Burgard with 12 points and Adah Fuller who scored 10 points. Both teams will be back in action next Monday Jan. 24 when they travel Burrell.
