VALLEY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 12
The Knoch Girls Basketball team continued their eight game winning streak by defeating Valley last night. The girls dominated in all facets of the game opening the first quarter 22-0 and leading at halftime 40-8. Five girls scored double figures as the Knights cruised to a 68-12 section win. The Knights are 11-2 overall and 5-0 in section play.
Scoring for the Knights:
Maddie Boyer - 13 points
Naturelle Ewing - 12 points
Karlee Buterbaugh - 11 points
Nina Shaw - 11 points
Mackenzie McGraw - 10 points
The JV team also won 35-6 behind the scoring of Jessica Burgard who netted 13 points and Abbey Hawk chipped in with 10 points. Both team will be back in action on Monday evening Jan. 17 when the host Freeport. Good Luck Knights!
