Slippery Rock was able to respond after an early goal from Macrina Robb on senior night to win 5-3. Knoch kept on fighting until the final whistle with the other 2 goals coming from Brooke Galcik and Hannah Klemm (assisted by Bella Oskin). Grace Foehringer stayed busy making 15 saves to make sure the contest stayed close.
