Knoch hosted Mars on Friday night under the lights at Pullman Park, but the Planets topped the Knights 10-4 and the Knights find themselves on their first 2 game losing streak of the season.
Knoch racked up 10 hits on the night, but couldn't keep pace with Mars' 14 hits. Isaac Roddy led the Knights offensive attack with 3 hits, including a triple, double and 3 RBI. Eli Sutton and Angelo DeLeonardis continued swinging hot bats and picked up 2 hits each. DeLeonardis tripled and Sutton doubled.
The Knights get ready for a big 2 game Section Series with the North Catholic Trojans Monday and Tuesday, and have a shot to win their first section title since the 2018 season. Both games are at 5:30 at Pullman Park.
