Knoch beat Indiana 10-7 on Tuesday to sweep the 2 game Section Series, and move into a first place tie in Section 1, 4A with North Catholic.  The Knights are now 6-2 in the section and 8-2 overall.  

Jacob Wagner got the start on the mound for Knoch, and allowed 2 hits and 2 earned runs in 3 innings of work.  Anthony Grafton came in in the 4th inning and finished things for Knoch to earn the win as he scattered 7 hits and struck out 5.

Knoch jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first on an RBI single by Jacob Stallsmith that scored Angelo DeLeonardis.  Indiana took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the first, and held onto it through 4.  In the 5th, Eli Sutton hit his first of 2 doubles on the day to score Luke DiSanti who led off the inning with a walk.  Sutton advanced to third on the throw home and scored three batters later on a sac fly to deep right field by Isaac Roddy.  Indiana scored 2 more runs in the bottom of the 5th to retake the lead.

The away half of the 6th inning started off with 2 batters up and 2 batters down, but these Knights never quit and blew up for 7 runs with 2 outs in the 6th!  The big inning started with walks by DeLeonardis and DiSanti. Sutton, Stallsmith, Brady Wozniak, Roddy, and Jacob Boris all hit consecutive RBI singles followed by a 2RBI double by Logan Cypher to give the Knights enough to hold off the Indians, who picked up 2 more runs in the final frame.

The Knights play 2 non section games to finish the week - at Valley on Thursday and hosting Mars on Friday - before they square off against North Catholic next Monday and Tuesday with the section title on the line.
