Knoch fell behind 2-0 in the first inning and battled back to win 5-4 Wednesday at Freeport in 8 innings.  

Cody Stull started on the mound and went 4 1/3 innings and held Freeport scoreless after the first.  Angelo DeLeonardis pitched the final 3 2/3 iniings to pick up the win on 4 hits, 0 ER, and 4K.  

Eli Sutton continued to swing one of the hottest bats in the WPIAL and raised his batting average to .600 as he collected 3 hits on the day with a double and an RBI.  

The Knights tied the game at 2 in the top of the 5th.  Jacob Wagner got the comeback started with a lead off single and moved to second when Sutton reached on an error.  Jacob Stallsmith singled to load the bases and Brady Wozniak hit a line drive single to score Wagner and Sutton.  
 

Dathan Gillis led off the extra frame with a double, followed by a DeLeonardis walk, and a Wagner fielder's choice.  Sutton singled and scored Gillis and while Wagner advanced to second.  Stallsmith hit an infield single to load the bases.  Isaac Roddy and Anthony Grafton were both hit by pitches with the bases loaded and 2 outs to give Knoch a 5-2 lead, which proved to be just enough to hold off the Jackets in the bottom of the 8th.
