The Knights battled back from a 6-2 deficit in the 3rd inning to win Game 2 of the section series with Highlands, 9-8 on Wednesday in 8 innings.  

Angelo DeLeonardis entered the game in relief in the 4th inning and earned the win on the mound.  Jacob Stallsmith came in in the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs and the tying run on 3rd to get the save after DeLeonardis hit his 100 pitch limit.  

In the top of the 7th, Anthony Grafton singled and scored Eli Sutton to tie the game at 6.  2 batters later, Luke Priester picked up an RBI on a groundout to score Isaac Roddy and gave the Knights their first lead of the game.  Highlands tied the game at 7 in the bottom of the frame to send the game to extra innings.  

In the top of the 8th, Jacob Wagner picked up a huge pinch hit single to start the inning and scored on a single by DeLeonardis.  Sutton smacked a double off of the center field wall to push DeLeonardis across the plate and give Knoch just enough for the win as Highlands scored 1 in the bottom of the 8th.  

Sutton finished the day with 3 hits and 3 RBI.  DeLeonardis had an RBI double and Isaac Roddy hit an RBI triple for the Knights.  

Knoch faces Riverside on Thursday at 5:30 at Pullman Park in a non-section game.
