The Knights opened the season with a big 15-5 non section win over Deer Lakes at Pullman Park on Tuesday.
Cody Stull got the start on the mound for Knoch and went 4 innings. Stull surrendered 5 hits and 3 earned runs while striking out 4. Jacob Wagner threw one scoreless inning in relief as Knoch ended the game in the bottom of the 5th via the ten run rule.
Eli Sutton led the Knights offensively, going 3 for 4 with a double, 3 RBI and scoring 3 runs. Brady Wozniak had 2 hits. Jacob Stallsmith and Anthony Grafton also doubled for Knoch.
