Announcements and Important Events
The spring sport seasons will officially begin on Monday, March 6th for varsity sports, middle school baseball and middle school volleyball. Middle school track will begin on Monday, March 13th. Students who wish to participate in a spring sport must complete the following:
1. Online registration through Big Teams. The online registration can located on the athletic website home page.
2. Students who competed in the fall and/or winter must complete PIAA Section 8 (Recertifcation) electronically through the Big Teams registration. Students who are competing for the first time this school year must complete PIAA Section 6 (Health History) and PIAA Section 7 (Physical) with their doctor. Physicals must be dated June 1, 2022 or after.
3. Payment of the participation fee. Students who participate in the free and reduced lunch program are exempt from the fee. The fee for each sport is $50 with a family cap of $150. Payment can be made online through Big Teams or a check can be dropped off at the athletic office. Checks should be made payable to the Knoch School District.
4. Students in grades 9-12 who participate in athletics, activities or who drive to school are required to consent to random drug screening throughout the period of participation. An initial screening is required prior to participation in a sport. Contact the athletic office for more information.
The following are the sports offered during the spring season.
Varsity sports - baseball, softball, boys tennis, co-ed track and field, boys lacrosse (club), girls lacrosse
Middle School Sports - co-ed middle school track, middle school volleyball, middle school baseball (club)
